Our founders
Klaus Lommatzsch
Founding Partner
Klaus runs Duval Union as a Founding Partner. Klaus started his career in the advertising industry and worked for Quattro (which later became Saatchi), TBWA, and Duval Guillaume, where he served first as Managing Partner and later as Duval Guillaume’s CEO (as of 2009). He oversaw a period of rapid growth for the agency – a time during which the business grew from five to 250 employees while generating a gross profit at peak of c. €30 million and over €50m in sales. Under Klaus’ brinkmanship, Duval Guillaume won many awards, including 17 Effies, during a 10-year time span in total. A unique feature in the Belgium advertising scene. Between his role as CEO of Duval Guillaume and co-founding Duval Union, Klaus founded his own business – Dreams & Fears, offering research-based marketing strategy to blue chip clients.

Marc Bresseel
Founding Partner, Board of Directors
Marc Bresseel began his career at IBM and later advanced at Microsoft, where he played a key role in launching online services like MSN, Hotmail, and Messenger in Belgium. As one of the early internet pioneers, he led sales and marketing for Microsoft’s online services in EMEA and later became Global CMO for Microsoft Advertising. After 16 years at Microsoft, he moved to IPG Mediabrands as VP, overseeing the top 14 markets. In 2014, Marc co-founded Duval Union, driven by his passion for creating value and scaling organizations. Outside of work, he’s a proud father and a dedicated olive farmer. Currently, Marc took up a challenging position as global CEO of Utiq but is still a director and shareholder of Duval Union.
